Okay! So, I know I have not been very good in updating Scotty's blog lately. But, here is the latest. Since Scotty got to come home on December 8th he has had some discomforting pain in his stomache which is caused by the shunt. We had him x-rayed & they found that the tip of the shunt was lodged between his liver & diaphram. Dr. Brockmeyer decided to give it a while to see if it would move on it's own but, it failed to do so. Today Scotty had a minor surgery to relocate the shunt tube. He is doing good but, just a little sore. He said this surgery was easy compared to the other 8. He is such a good kid & he is very strong. He will have a check up in a month & from there he will be good until June for his MRI. The last CT scan showed that his tumor is stable & the shunt is working.
